Doing my best to ‘unbore’ the local church

altar

Posted by andybwarren on October 23, 2007

In the Old Testament whenever Israel would experience God do something incredible they’d build an altar.  So yesterday the Warren5 hit the beach and built an altar.  Why?  To thank God for giving us three, experience filled years, in Conneaut, Ohio.

Sometimes it’s difficult to learn the lessons that God has for you.  We spend too much time in the details.  I remember praying God, help me ‘learn the lessons and forget the details.’

As we transition to Dayton, OH we value what we have learned and the friendships we have made.

    hey pastorandy
looks like a lot of people are in the process of trusting God to sell their homes. i wanted to thank you for your words about this being a new chapter in my book. im in columbus now and i am moving forward in my calling and have many ideas. i had a dream that when God shook all that could be shaken and I was left to see which way i would I went over the cliff i was standing on in the right direction but when you looked over the edge I was holding on to the edge with my fingertips very tightly. the one area of my life i have not completely trusted god with is my finances. i have always made my own way by working and i went out to work to bring in money but God keeps telling me to live on what he supplied me with and seek the kingdom by putting together what he has told me to do. i have fear in this area. But i am renewing my mind and I know that like you if i learn and believe i to will soon be walking into my destiny.God has shown me that with terry and i he is tearing down what we built on and rebuilding on his foundation. i have stayed in perfect peace with terry and allowed him to have all that he wants in our legal seperation and it is leaving room for god to work in his life. Im very proud of you and beth and continue to pray for you. it looks like you are being promoted and the last chapter of your book was short. you must be a quick learner. it really is up to us how fast we grow. i will be watching and praying God has called me to be a life long watchmen for you and your family. happy growing choose life. stay in touch crystal lowe
